A Day to Remember at the Community Event
What an incredible community event to be part of. Thanks to the amazing organisation by the committee and the collective effort of the community, the day ran seamlessly and the weather was perfect too.
We were delighted to have a fantastic spot right at the heart of the show, representing both The Anchorage and Manor Barn Care Home. Surrounded by a great mix of stallholders, our minibus was packed with treats for visitors to enjoy. Our cool box, stocked with personalised water bottles, was a big hit, a thoughtful and refreshing way to keep visitors cool while also promoting the importance of staying hydrated.
Helping Families Plan Ahead
Many people were looking into care options for the future and felt comfortable discussing planning ahead, whether for a little holiday, some respite after an operation, or other longer term care.
We hope our ‘goodie bags’ helped provide useful information for both our homes to support these important decisions.
Fresh flowers, picked from our gardens that very morning, took pride of place on our table, adding a beautiful touch to the day.
The cakes with our edible logo toppers were also a real treat and received amazing feedback from everyone who stopped by.
Special Guests and Community Connections
We loved catching up with both familiar faces and new friends. We were honoured to welcome visits from Dr. Tim Fooks, High Sheriff of West Sussex, our private in-house GP Dr. Bashir, the local community policing team, 4Sight, the amazing Mary How Trust ladies, the Business Bees group, and many more supportive members of our community. The list truly goes on.
And if you spotted The Anchorage unicorn dancing with the Magic Moments sash during the band’s performance, you know we stole the show and turned a few heads.
Days like this really highlight the incredible spirit of our community and the caring hearts that make it so special. We’re already counting down the days until next year.
